To get closer to earning Business Extra travel rewards, all you have to do is make sure your Business Extra account number appears on all of your tickets.
*To ensure that the account number is added to all future bookings booked through www.aa.com, have employees save the Business Extra account number in the Reservation Preferences section of their personal profile on www.aa.com.
If you already have a reservation with American Airlines, e-mail Business Extra Customer Service or call 1-800-457-7072, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CDT, M - F to add your account number.
Effective February 1, 2014, your customers can now earn Business Extra points on all US Airways flights. Tickets must be issued on American Airlines 001 ticket stock in order to earn Business Extra points.
All applicable ticketing rules still apply. Tickets issued on 001 ticket stock must contain at least one American Airlines or American Eagle flight segment.
The Business Extra℠ program allows you to receive credit for tickets purchased through your travel agency. However, in order for these tickets to be eligible, you must ensure that your travel agent places your Business Extra account number in the "Tour Code" box or the "OSI Field" of each eligible ticket issued on your behalf.

The Business Extra program is a great tool for your corporate client because it is another value-added service you can provide to make business travel more rewarding for them. As their designated travel agent, you play a crucial role in their success. The calculation of Business Extra points awarded to your clientis based upon their tracked revenue. Your client will receive the Business Extra points to which they are entitled provided that their Business Extra account number is placed in the "Tour Code" box. It is critical that you use the correct ticketing entry to ensure that your client receives all the Business Extra points to which they are entitled.
American Airlines will track flown revenue automatically through your client's Business Extra Account Number.
