Central America is defined as Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama.
South America Zone 1 is defined as Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Venezuela.
Europe is defined as Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canary Islands, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Georgia, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
Partner Awards are valid for one-way or round trip travel, No enroute stopovers allowed. Itinerary must be on a valid fare routing and contain one partner operated segment.
Partner awards on American Airlines, American Eagle and our airline participants may be subject to special limitations on seating availability. Seats for award travel may not be available on all flights. Reservations for flight awards will be accepted, and you will have a confirmed seat, as long as award seats are still available for the award you are using when you make your reservation. However, all accommodations are subject to availability at the time reservations are made.
Once redeemed via BusinessExtra.com, a confirmation email with the Electronic Authorization Number is sent to the Travel Manager. The Electronic Authorization includes the Award Code along with an eight character alpha-numeric code (IE. BP16/0A1B2C3D). This number should be provided to American Airlines Reservations when you are ready to ticket your award reservation.
